Prepare the Dryer for First Use

Before using the Zanussi ZDEB 47209W Dryer for the first time, wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth or run a brief drying cycle (approximately 30 minutes) with damp cloths inside to remove any residues produced during production.

Remove Transport Packaging

Ensure all transport packaging is removed before use. Open the loading door, pull off adhesive strips from inside the machine on top of the drum, and remove the foil hose and polystyrene padding from the machine.

Fitting the Vent Hose

To install the vent hose, choose the most convenient vent outlet from the options at the back, left, or right-hand side. Attach the hose by pulling the ring nut from the vent outlet at the back, screwing it onto the hose, and pushing it firmly back into place.

Drying cycle complete

The drying cycle has finished, and the machine is ready for unloading. The lights 'END' and 'FILTER' will be on, and if the buzzer is active, an acoustic signal sounds intermittently for about one minute.

Programme cancelled

Attempting to change the programme after it has started. The programme knob or function button was pressed after the programme started. The led on the START/PAUSE button flashes temporarily in red, but the drying programme continues unaffected to protect the laundry.
